Dear Vacuum Friends,

I would like to ask you for another advice:
Because the hose of my cleaner had some leaking at the upper end, I decided to cut it up a little bit and then fix it again.
Usually the hose is fixed by srewing a short peace of threaded plastic pipe in it. But I don´t manage to. Now I tried to glue the hose into the short metal pipe with an elastic glue called pattex without using the threaded pipe.
But I´m not very satisfied with this solution, I´m afraid, this will not hold tight for very long.
Maybe You have an idea how to make it better?
Thanks for reading!

Herrmann

P.S.: I got an original users Manual for the ZG 65, if its legal and of interest, I could share it here. However, It´s in German.
