@jbowie31 I would contact Tom @dysonvacman on here he is a dealer.
Having used a Miele c3 and the Guardian Platinum. I'm not sure if they'll be really any advantage to one over the other. I think the hoses and cords are too short on both of those vacuums. That's just my humble opinion. If you like the nostalgia of Electrolux you might also take a look at a clean obsessed/perfect vacuum. |

The Aerus Legacy is a nice vacuum. But I couldn't spend $1800 on a vacuum that doesn't even have a HEPA filter. That's just me though. |

Call Ray Satterwhite at 1-866-343-0909. He owns Aerus of Richmond VA and gave me a lower price for the Guardian Platinum than the prices above. I don’t live near there, he shipped it to me. |

N0oxy, what all power nozzles work with the classic, do you need special fittings to make it work? |

Good idea with getting a second set of wands for the Legacy. I always just switch out the power nozzle and flip floor tool. But, for now, my back allows me to do so. I sympathize with you.
With my Ambassador III however, it was missing the non powered wands when I got it, and I bought a pair of the aluminum wands instead of the plastic that would have been correct for it. I just like the aluminum ones better. On that one, I keep the flip floor tool attached to the metal wands, exactly as you suggested. Very convenient! Barry |

A few yrs ago I bought the Guardian Ultra (with Classic style hose, PN, wands & tools) & its a great vac I've ever had; but I put 'makeshift' accessory clips onto the HEPA filter cover so the combo duster/upholstery tool & long crevice tool store onboard the vac & I also bought two aluminum wands for the Classic bare floor brush because the Classic plastic accessory wands aren't really sturdy enough when I use the floor brush & too heavy for vacing cobwebs close to the ceiling & dusting the ceiling fans & central air vents. The plastic wands (usually equipped with the Classic) don't stay attached very good onto each other or onto the crevice tool or combo dusting brush/upholstery tool
I paid $600 for the 'Guardian Ultra Classic' (Guardian Ultra equipped with pistol grip hose & metal wands for PN & floor brush + Sidekick I) |

Curious what the OP found deficient in the Miele C3 to see if it is addressed by any of the Aerus vac models. |

Another big fan of the Sidekick here.
Although, in all fairness, I've never used a comparable accessory of any other brand. Regarding its toughness: Agreed. But, if you ever use your Electrolux with Sidekick to clean the car interior, then forget that you left the little guy laying in the driveway, and run over him with the car...😬 Yeah. That was when I was still living at home, and it was Mom's vacuum. Needless to say, I had to buy her a replacement Sidekick. Barry |

I’m glad Ray could help you out! Power and performance wise, how do you feel the new Lux compared to the C3? |
