Checkrate/Likes I had recently purchased Kirby Micron Magic hepa filtration bags . The fill tube connection in my Heritage II and the same thing retrofitted in my 519 is a little too small to hold the bag to the cardboard opening. Has anyone else had this problem and what solution have they found?

Checkrate/Likes *Wrong* Type 1 bags tradition Type 2 heritage thru G3 maybe I know g3- sentria with bigger emtor take brown paper micron magic bags. You have to buy the top fill tube adaptor if you have heritage 2 type 2 topper. Micron magic gt different fill tube fit newest Kirby bags. I use the newest tube. I bought veva brand type f bags. You get 30 for $30. I feel there better than Kirby's oem bags. Les

Checkrate/Likes 1 *kirbyrama* I've used the Kirby Hepa cloth bags on multiple 'conversions' like you described and they fit perfectly. I haven't tried any of the paper micron magic bags so I can't verify the size inconsistency. I"ll check tomorrow to see if I have a used bag that came with one of my machine and test fit it on several fill tube adaptors to see what I find.

Checkrate/Likes I know my Heritage 1HD that I used to have used bags with oval shaped openings. I'm assuming those are Type 1, same as the Tradition used before it. The Heritage II through Sentria models all used the same round opening bags. My Sentria came with one of those cloth HEPA bags but I replaced it with a paper 'Generation 3' bag. The present F type bags were a running change some time after the introduction of the Sentria II.

Checkrate/Likes 2 Les, you forgot to mention that the new universal style hepa cloth bags fit every model from Heritage II till the newest Avalir. I use them on my Legend II and Heritage II w/o a problem .

Checkrate/Likes I tried the HEPA Micron Magic on my H2 recently as well since I got some with my Avalir I got a few months back. The opening is definitely just a bit too large for the H2 bag adapter. I went back to the paper G3 bags.

Checkrate/Likes 1 *Modification* I ended up cutting the cardboard opening from the Style 3 (G3) paper bag. I used a slide type blade,then cut two slots, and gluing it to the opening of the new white hepa filter bag. This retrofit in my 519 Sani-Emptor now fits perfectly with a little bit of force to fasten it to the H-II -Legend fill tube top connector. This is a 60-year-old machine and the air flow is amazing. I noticed the difference immediately. I also used the old cardboard opening as a template and traced and cut out some more from cardboard to use in the future.
