I just got ge. Hand vac from eBay and I'm getting a dust tool set for my hoover 450 and I will up date when I get them hears the hand vac . I have a question or two one how do you rebrisil a ge. Hand vac brush role and how old is this vac? I have replaced the cord and replaced the belt with a o-ring an greased the bearings.

Just guessing early 60's

Looks pretty heavy duty. Can't help you on re-bristling, I think there's a couple people who could help you if they see this.

GE hand vac

Let's move the date back to about the late 40s.It matched the upright and tank and was often sold with the upright just as Oreck sells an upright and small Buster B type canister.Actually the Buster B evolved from the Eureka Whisk which came from the GE MV 1 of the mid 60s.Before that GE had the small Tidy canister.
I will have several GE & other hand vacs that I may have a chance to find this weekend.All will GO soon!Most at $5 or less.

Didn't Hamilton Beach also make a similar mold too?

Nice find! I see these on eBay alot but never was invested enough to get one.
