Hello everyone!

New to me classic 3 that doesn’t seem to have the right bag setup. It doesn’t secure to the hand pole with the rubber topper and it definitely doesn’t balloon at all. It does clean something serious though!! What do I need to make it right? And does anyone have the required parts?

Also, how on earth do I remove the headlight bulb? It feels like it neither twists or pulls out. Also, are there any led options as a replacement?

Thanks in advance!

Joe,

Your Classic III has the indeed infamous F&G conversion kit on it. It was not good at all, as the design of it tended to cut off incoming suction noticeably.

You need a proper Sani Emtor and bag, which would have looked like this at the time your machine was made.

To remove the bulb, unscrew the lens, push the bulb, and twist counterclockwise while pushing on it. It could be different with the Classic III, but it is like that with both my 1cr and Heritage II.

The Classic 1CR light bulb is not the same as those for models Classic Omega 1CB to Legend II.

Whereas the 1CR's light bulb is 120 volt, twin-contact, the light bulb for models 1CB to Legend II's is 12 volt and single-contact.

In either case, it must be correctly assembled or it may not light when the cleaner runs.

So push in and twist?

Yes, push in slightly and twist CCW to remove.
This 12V bulb can be replaced with an 1156 automotive back-up bulb available at many local retailers.

Thank you! Do you know of any led replacement options?

Try this i have a few there good. You go too cheap silicone gets ruined when you try to twist bulb in or out.
I have a link of ones from China but you have to wait a while.
