See my thread 39022...
If anyone has a good "clean" picture of the dust indicator, please email it to me.
That's all I need to make a new glass piece to replace the broken celluloid
part. I googled it and could not find a good pic.

follow up

Sorry - I wrote the above while at work ...so, I was in work mode.
Short and to the point ...

I should have written this:

I am trying to make a replacement for the Air Way upright's dust indicator since
mine is broken. I already have a piece of dome shaped glass that fits perfectly.
I made a slightly thinner retaining ring out of wire. I now only need to make
a decal (have the decal paper) of the indicator. To do this, I need a good clean
image of it. If anyone has one better than what I show on this post, please email it to me. If this all works, and I think it will, I'll be glad to give anyone that asks a decal and any other info. they need.
Thanks !
dave

I mean, I doubt it. Unless someone's made the decal before. I could work on it if nobody comes forward with one.

never mind

My wife took my picture and put it in her art software...she blacked out
everything except the writing.....I'll post the end result today or tomorrow.
The entire project cost is only $ 15.

Thanks !.

Glad it worked out! I have one too but on my vacuum, the shield is really a lot more yellowed than yours I think, and I wasn't sure if that would have come out clearly.
