that rubber backed rug would hurt the Kirby's performance if the nozzle is down low enough for normal carpet cleaning, otherwise the lack of weight in the pn of the Electro on regular carpet wouldn't seal or be heavy enough for optimum sealing I"m betting from all that I"ve read and experienced.
ON that rug though, Electrolux might just be a better performer. Thx for the video |

I thought it was a good video. The Super J (which was in all essence an Olympia) was the model that was the Classic III's contemporary. The rubber backed rug does make all the difference. Most vacuums with a good sweeping brush make a good showing on that type of rug. That's why I have one in my store, to demonstrate on. I embed pink sand into the rug all the time, to show the difference real agitation makes. The sand just boils up when I use a Sanitaire on it.
