Hello! I have a model 65 Hoover Convertible with a broken zipper on the bag. Does anyone have any to sell in the US? I am not looking to spend too much. Thanks!

go to a taylor shop and have the zipper replaced. "cheap" and original model 65 bag don't go in the same sentence most of the time. unless you find another one on your own.

I too would replace the zip. Or have a dry-cleaners/alterations-tailor replace it for you.

It'd be a good idea to source a replacement zip first. The correct size, colour, quality... so they don't fit an inferior one.

If your zip is intact but not meshing, i.e. the teeth are open in front and behind the slider, there are some good YouTube videos showing how to fix that.

A light spray of dry Silicone Lube (for bike chains), or Paste Furniture Wax, work well to keep zips running smoothly.

I had that issue with a model 69 bag.

I bought a new zipper, then took it to a shoemaker. He had the perfect machine. $5.00 and 5 minutes later, all like new!
