At the thrift shop today... The other half found this little gemstone tossed outside in the “throw away” pile in the rain. The other half was happy to let it stay in the rain... But I couldn’t let that happen. Bought it for $2.50 and it runs perfectly and cleaned up quite nicely!

No attachments, sadly. But it sure did clean up nice!

Now, my question is...

Does any of you have attachments for this thing that you are willing to sell?

I know it’s a long shot, but I’d love to get this thing to where I can use it.

So, even if all you have is just the hose, and someone else has the tools, and someone else the power nozzle, I’ll work with whatever I can get!

Thanks!!!!!

Wow it looks better than new! I feel like you could use a generic hose and attachments, of course they wouldn't look the part, but at least you could use it.

(Also, you might want to peek around the thrift shop, they may have 'liberated' the attachments to sell separately.)

Hey there!

Thank you so much for responding! Can you email or phone me about the power nozzle and maybe send a picture? You can email me at Trajemoi25@aol.com. I will provide my phone number via email for texting pictures or email is fine. I’m very interested in getting this beauty equipped to clean the floors!

Thanks again!
Chris

I seen a brown version of this vacuum at the thrift store. It was in bad shape. It is a nice vaccuum.

Hey
You don't post as often quick question. Do you by chance have a d80 green straight extension tube. It's only part I'm missing. Thanks
Les

Nice save. Love the color. I can't believe they were going to throw that little beauty away. I wouldn't have been able to leave it there, either. That was definitely $2.50 well spent. Hope you find all the pieces and parts you need.

I'll second what MadMan said. I used to frequent a thrift shop (now out of business) that did just what he suggested. They often sold the tools separate from the cleaners they came in with, especially if the tools were in a caddy or branded box. They also sometimes sold them a la carte. I guess it was whatever the employee who processed it decided. I once scored a complete basic toolkit to go with my Kirby Gsix there for $4.00. They had it marked for $8.00 but it was their monthly half price sale.

Just to sweeten the deal that day, I also picked up a genuine Wedgwood jasperware plate for one thin dime. That's right, they'd marked it for 20 cents and I got it for ten. Those idiots didn't know Wedgwood from Chinet. It's been quite a while since I've seen any deals that good but I keep checking by my favorite thrift stores and hoping.

I checked around all over and didn’t find the attachments. I did speak with the shop owner and she told me that the person who donated it said that they’d be bringing them in, but that was quite a while ago and they haven’t seen or heard from her - and that’s why they were tossing it - no way of using it. The good news it’s rescued! I’ve seen a hose on eBay, and I’m totally willing to do it part by part to make it whole again, but would love to come across a complete power nozzle that matches. I hope Gottahaveahoover messaged me back!!!

Les: I’ve just been busy lately. All I’ve got is my attachment set, but if you go on the Mercari app, there’s a full attachment set for sale on there. It has the wand you need. I think the shipping is like $9.

Thank you for info on attachments I sent an offer just under $40 for everything. This will complete my green machine. I have the f Roto waxer I'll have to pull it out and it has original 50 year old wax. The handi butler has wax looks like an ancient hot dog. Hope this machine gets it's parts thanks again. Les
