Why is it that Yellow colored Compact C8 C9 are easy to find but blue C80 C9 or C80-2 are harder to find was the blue color compact different ?? Or are they just rare ?Every time i look for compact vacuum online tons of green c8 c9 but limited of blue colored c8 c9 odd i find .

They didn't sell the blue ones for very long. They were sold in Vacuum Shops at the exact same time Interstate released the "Tri-Star" for the door to door salesmen. The yellow ones were sold by tons of door to door salesmen (they made the yellow one for many years).

Some cleaning the handle whit sand paper will remove the paint then a good microfiber cloth to smooth it all out or maybe some wax to keep it protected and for the switch same thing i did that on my C9 now the chrome shines .

thats what i did to my compact ,wet sand in my shed and re paint in engine enamel blue paint .Then i let it sit in the shed on a hot summer day whit the door close to bake the paint on .It came out great best of luck whit your C8 ,steel wool pad and a gentle hand will take the paint off the handle and bring the shine back whit wax and voila .
