Grew up with one until 1962. My mother received it for her wedding shower in 1948! It was powerful! She bought a Hoover Convertible model 68, and the Apex went to my father's business. |

I have the brown version, (maybe a 602? or 603A? I'll have to look later), from Tom Gasko after a trip to the museum about two years ago. It is one of my favorite vintage vacs.
Great brush roll design, really good bag for the time and a powerful motor. Works great on my berber carpet and is fun to use. The many features made it ahead of it's time. Another great product long gone. |
