Hey
I finally received heritage 2 13 inch nozzle vacuum. I order amodel fan carbon brushes and a sentria 2 fill tube topper to fit Sentria 2 HEPA bags.
I have my 519 with all blue trim started. It has tradition front axle. I'm going to put d50-d80 motor in it.
Then my d80 is done except small polishing. It has tradition axle and wide wheels.
So I'll have heritage 2 13 inch nozzle, 519(d50 if doesn't fit in 519. D80 wide wheels.
So all 3 have front axles and rear axles all similar. The heritage motor I believe is 5.5 amps. The d80 motor is 5.5 amps on high speed.
All 3 same power output. I'm going to probably make a video testing airflow, versus with toilet paper roll. I want to see what is best Kirby suction champion.
I'm guessing the heritage 2 may win just for simple fact carbon brushes are bigger on heritage.
Stay tuned.
Les

Les,

That is awesome about you finally getting that Heritage II with the small head!

The 13" nozzle on your Heritage II will also work with the speed switch for the 516 to Sanitronic VII (that includes your 519), but not that for the D50 and D80.

Thanks Ben!
The lady was demoing a warehouse and it was left in a closet.
Pic 5 is 519 with blue rear wheels.
Pic 6 is d80 it's wired with speed switch. D80 just needs front part of fan housing and the rear motor shell.
7 is 519 blue emtor with tradition bag. I have bag assembly for sentria 2 HEPA bags. The bag is brand new.
Pic 8 is square emtor with blue bottom. D80 has sentria 2 HEPA conversion.
Pic 9 is same bag.
Pic 10 is 4 roll brush roll. I have 5 Total. The brush roll is sitting on bag that came with vacuum just washed it.
I ordered sentria 2 topper for heritage.
Oh and d80 has green led bulb.
I have a g series hose with adaptor glued on to fit d89 I don't know if hose will heritage.
That's it I guess.
The first couple pics are of serial number and heritage 2 type 13.
Ii don't know whether to put amodel fan in older 2. I have metal fans. I may temporarily put amodel on all 3 to make it fair.
519 I'm going to use a tradition handle. D80 and heritage both have wide handle.
I am excited. I really like the way the 519 looks. I really like heritage look. .

Les,

The serial number dates this one to October of 1986.

And good luck on your 519 makeover!

Love that aftermarket blue bag, wish I could find another one. I dig blue, so I like your converted model 519. I have a ds80 model that was 'blued out' that I've yet to get to refinishing/renewing thats like yours....I like that your sani-emptor even had a blue tray!

Hey

Ya blue trim looks good. I'm debating whether to polish everything up. My wife found 2 sentrias at thrift store for $50 and $60 and they have a couple scratches I need to buff out. I found out how to get black off polishing. I hope I get vacuums done but wife wants sentrias sellable to get money for them. Meh don't like rushing working on vacuums I'm selling. Well I must hurry to get done before work.
