I just took apart a PN-2000 to clean it and break it free, the brushroll was sort of jammed up, that thing is amazingly well built and easy to take apart and back together.

I planned doing the same with my PN-100 but the top half and bottom half didn't want to come apart. It seems there a tab or something that keeps halves together, i'm not sure, and it could be where my chainsaw screwdriver points at.

What is the way to separate halves wihtout breaking anything ?

Alright, I just figured it out with better light, there is actually a tab, and I had to use a pretty small flat screwdriver to break the halves free.

@quebecois It frightens me just think that you have trouble working on something this simple. I know it's more complicated than a hockey puck. But you might leave it to a professional.
Good luck hope somebody in Canada can help you out.

thank you smart a$$, I clearly pointed out the fact that I didn't have enough light yesterday evening to clearly see the tab.

In a recent past, I successfully fixed the water pump on my Yamaha MaximX 1985, obviously you don't know what you're talking about.
