Walmart has done no such thing. They're still very much Walmart, with the logo as part of the sign. They DID drop the word "Stores" from the name, last February. |

Wal-Mart was always hyphenated, and the star acted as a hyphen. Last year they removed the hyphen and just changed their name to "Walmart", the logo changed to reflect the star being put at the beginning.
If you mean their redesigned website, that's just to make it easier to use on smartphones, to just have the star there rather than having an entire logo taking up half the screen. What's fun is looking at their old homepage from 2001 in the Wayback Machine: web.archive.org/web/200011171402... |

... you're a troll. This simply did not happen. Do you have any clue how big that would be in the national -- and international -- media if that were the case? Sorry, but unless you can produce documentation from WALMART in the form of a public announcement, press release or media coverage of your claim, I'm just not buying it. |
