So I have decided that it was easier to just purchase a new Dirt Devil hand vac than try to fix the one I had. This is a rare M08510 with a 2.6 amp motor. It is hard to say whether or not it runs as it is actually on the fence of working and not. I mean, the little silver thing that sticks out of one of the motor wires is gone so I can’t get it running again, but before it fell out, the motor ran but seemed jammed. It is clean even on the inside of the motor case. The fan is not the original and is a replacement.
