Michael Thomas came for the weekend....one of our projects was to do some concentrated thrifting. Unfortunately there wasn't much to be found in the stores this weekend. We saw a few vacuums but nothing that needed to come home with us.
The other project was to detail and fine tune his latest vacuum acquisition....this great model 34 Hoover Convertible special. Here it is after being fluffed and buffed. A little grease and some cleaning and it purrs like a champ.

Roger and Michael, that sure is one pretty model 34! It looks to be in fantastic shape. Love the color and the condition of the bag. Looks like you have worked your magic again Roger!!!

My local thrift stores never net anything that old, at least not Hoover! What a pretty color and vacuum!

That is a beautiful convertible, as are the other Hoovers in the background

Is that the Oreck in the background?? Woo hoo!

Love the color of that Hoover 34 - being in the presence of so many colors is like being in the ice cream store!
