Does anyone have old Sears or Montgomery Ward catalogues from the 50's '60's with vacuum sections intact? These would be great for "Vac of the Day" segments.

Also, ads from UK. I'm fascinated by their Hoover models
& of of course the 'ole Great Britain "Goblins."

library resources

Where I used to live, the libraries had old Sears catalogues on microfilm and microfiche formats. That's how I was able to see alot of machines for the first time.

MORE library resources!!!!

HOORAY! we've got options for old vacuum images!

I just found a website called searsarchives.com

Among other things, they have a listing of libraries around the country which have the old catalogs. They're probably digitized images, but still they're available for our viewing pleasure. Their website states they reprinting of images for non profit groups is assessed on a case by case basis. This gives us possibilities of having more images for Vac of the day!
