I have a 3qt. saucepan that I use to pop corn in. I have burned the corn a couple of times and can't seem to get the black spots out even with SOS. Can anyone suggest a better way of cleaning it?

Are you talking about the outside copper plate or the inside pan? If it's the inside pan use Barkeeps Friend and a green ScotchBrite pad (just enough water to make a paste).

the Barkeeper's Friend paste. You may try to put water and Baking Soda and water IN the pot, heat, let sit a(a few times). It has removed burned spots (My late mother had burned a few things in her day). It worked. Took a while, but, it saved the Revere.
