A Hoover Twin Chamber Bagless. Remember how many problems that gave you? Well, some dimwit at Hoover decided to rebage the EmPower for a commercial environment. Commercial environments have dust. A lot of dust. How do you think that terrible Twin Chamber system would be at filtering, when it can't handle a little bit of dust? Plus, this thing would probably fall apart within six months.

That thing looks like it'll fall apart as soon as you flip the switch. |

I had one of these models a few years back and got rid of it. This was a Hoover foray into making a cheap plastic vac. |

I don't think these were not bad at all but it's definitely not the greatest vacuums in my opinion. I think the cleaning performance is good overall but not as good as the regular bagless windtunnels and the filtration is not as pathetic as the bagless Tempos or Widepaths. These actually got approved by the Carpet and Rug Institue on the bronze level in their testing program which is good. I would take these anyday over a Bissell Powerforce bagless.

I had one of those and it did a fantastic job on home carpet, provided it was kept cleaned out. Fairly quiet, lightweight, powerful. As I recall, it did a better job and seemed more solidly built than the Empower. I recently sold it to my Grandpa's church (fairly small church) and I haven't heard any complaints.

They can clean pretty well, but that mesh between the chambers clog up almost instantly, and of course the pleasted filter was another problem too with clogging up quickly on its own. I actually managed to salvage one from being thrown away. New brush roll, belt, and filters and it runs perfect like if it was new. I'll never say it's the best out there, but there are definitly worse out there.
