I have this Dirt Devil 500 and it runs perfectly. I have the cover to it somewhere. I was wondering, what's the difference between this and an original Dirt Devil Hand Vac or Dirt Devil Plus? The motor looks the same as the original and this thing is from 1993. Did it come with more attachments than the standard Dirt Devil? Was it more suited for car cleaning? I need some info!

P.S. That's not the original bag, it's a Dirt Devil Plus bag. The original one, which was black and yellow to match the rest of the machine, had a rip under the ring.

As far as I know it is exactly the same machine as the normal red ones, maybe the 500 series was made for a specific retailer or maybe a longer warranty?
