Hello all, first post long time reader. I recently got a almost new Aerus Legacy, the black one. Nice machine, but the hose is just too short. I emailed Aerus to see if I could purchase a longer hose, and was told they just don't have that option available,(not very helpful). I had seen the video of the 12 ft hose that you can get with the Platinum. I emailed the person that made the video a Aerus shop in Richmond VA. That person was very nice, but said that hose could only be sold with a Platinum.Is there anyone that custom makes longer hoses? I searched the net for the new Aerus nice flexible black hose, and I can't find anything, it is like they don't exist. I also have a Classic the white one from 2010 that I was able to find an aftermarket 10 ft electric hose for and it works great-this vac is in the rec room now. I was thinking of taking the hose from the Legacy to a vac shop or central vac shop to see if they can come up with a solution. I know there are quite a few posts with folks wanting longer hoses for their canister vacs, but they seem to end without a solution. All thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks Joe.

Try a vacuum shop that repairs or makes up hoses.Most can.
