I have two Oster blenders, one an mid-1980s Pulse-Matic 16 speed, and the other a 1960s Galaxie Dual Range 8 speed.
I've had the Pulsematic since it was new, purchased at the now-gone Robinsons department store in Beverly Hills (closed in 2006 and demolished in 2014), and found the Galaxie on eBay, mint condition. Both are excellent machines -- indeed, real work horses. CLICK HERE TO GO TO electrolux137's LINK |

~ P.S.: About Robinson's:
The architect-engineers were Charles O. Matcham, Charles Luckman and William Pereira, an L.A. star whose career led to the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, the ... Los Angeles County Museum of Art complex and CBS' Television City.
Raymond Loewy and Associates, designers of the Lucky Strike logo, the Sears Coldspot refrigerator and the Greyhound bus, did the interiors.
For the landscaping of almost 8 acres, Florence Yoch and Lucile Council were on hand. They had designed gardens for "Gone With the Wind" and the grounds of Jack Warner's estate, today David Geffen's.

Ronson blenders sound like they were well made with plenty of power. |

You must have one of the models with a permanent magnetic motor if it is quiet compared to most blenders. My vintage Oster is quieter than my Hamilton Beach. |

Nice collections!
Fortunately, I've never been bitten by the bug to collect blenders. I have an Oster that my parents bought new; probably 1970s. And, just before Christmas 2022, I gave in to temptation and bought an entry-level Vitamix. I haven't used the Oster in over twelve years. And, so far, haven't taken the Vitamix out of the box. I'm making a concerted effort to eat more healthy though, and I would like to make the Vitamix a part of that. Barry |

The Ronson cook and stir is the best blender I have ever used. It has a two speed transmission, one is used when stirring, and the other when blending. It can stir and bring liquid in its container up to boiling and above. It makes the best puddings and gravy’s. It chops onions and peppers like a dream. Makes the best milkshakes.
