Hi all I am thinking of buying a cheap carpet cleaner to use around the house and have a few in mind.

Dirt Devil Enhance

Bissell PowerForce PowerBrush

Hoover SteamVac SpinScrub

I am leaning more towards the hoover as I've used one like it before and liked it but it cost more. So what do you all think i should get, for reference i don't have much carpet but what i do gets high traffic so a cleaner is needed. I am open to all suggestions thanks in advance Aiden

 get the Hoover spin scrub. Maybe not the latest model, I don't know how well made they are. The older ones were made very well, and last a long time. Better than any Bissel or Dirt Devil for sure. Yes, they cost more, because they are made better.
I know someone who owns rental property and has one from the late 90's, and it is still cleaning the carpets each time a tenant moves out. Never a problem with it. It's a maroon color, with the spin scrub stair tool.
The brushes are air driven on them, so no smaller motor to fail. If the air intake for the spin brushes clog with dirt, it can be cleaned. Only an issue after many years of use.
I have a newer (2 year old) Hoover floor mate deluxe and it does an excellent job. No problems either.

 I have decided to go ahead and get a Hoover. I am however not sure which one I want. The model I'm leaning towards is the 105$ model at Home Depot however some other models look good too. Thank Aiden

 shows 2 or 3 spin scrub models with different numbers than Home Depots, and one of theirs says discontinued.
At least one of them has 3 speeds, and one has the powered stair tool.
As that is air driven, you may be able to buy it separately.
Prices were listed from $105.99 to $149.99. Two have 360 bristles, and one said it has 60 counter rotating bristles.
The newer Max Extract model is $250.00. They also list a commercial model, which is mainly a heavy duty cord, and different handle.

dont go for maxextract pressure pro or power path! those break very easily vs classic spinscrub

 To just go with the "classic" Hoover SteamVac, still the most fool proof and reliable of the whole consumer market. We sell refurbished units at work and haven't seen any come back with an issue. Normally the only thing that does go bad is the turbine, and that tends to be after 10+ years of use.

My Spin Scrub . . .

 Back in 2006, I bought a Hoover Spin Scrub All-Terrain carpet cleaner with Auto Rinse(F7452-900). Forward stroke spritzed shampoo and scrubbed, and the backward stroke rinsed and sucked up the water. I thought it was the best that Hoover had at the time, and it is still a good machine. The only problem I've had is, just recently, the brushes would not spin. It turned out two things happened together. The stud on the brush assembly that inserts into the turbine gear broke in half, and unrelated to that, the turbine went bad. I was able to buy a new brush assembly and the exact turbine replacement at vac parts warehouse. Thanks to a couple of good videos on YouTube, I learned how to disassemble the machine and replace the turbine. Back in business.
