Hi, I found an old Royal 4500 in a house I bought, and it works fine, but I need a manual, and I also need to find out how to remove the nozzle on there so I can put another on...I've pulled, pushed, and tried to twist it off...there seems to be a button under a piece of rubber on the wand, but for the life of me I can't get the nozzle off...I even sprayed wd 40 on it...seems like a great vacuum, and I'm not sure if all the features are working, but I'd just like to vacuum with another nozzle...thanks!

Hi Tami,

Try pushing on the button with one hand and pull the nozzle with the other and it should come off. The button is actually on the shank of the nozzle and must clear the slot in the wand to come off. The slot is there to allow the nozzle to swivel without coming apart.
