Do you mind showing a picture of the beginning of the cord? As in, where it connects into the vacuum? Because that's what the recall was about. The insulation on the cord could tear at that part of the cord, posing shock and burn risks to the user. Apparently it only applied to the models that didn't have a 3-inch strain relief on the beginning of the cord, so if yours doesn't have that, you should get it repaired. Stay safe, and happy vacuuming.
