I've attached a link to Hesco inc websites. You can scroll down to the uprights section and view the schematic you need based on your model number. If this doesn't work you can try Sears Parts website. Input your model number there and try to find the part.
Dirt Devil has had many uprights over the years. Many of which overlap in name but have a different body style. Without a model number or seeing a picture of your actual machine I personally clue which body style your vacuum is. Best of luck! Can't wait for photos. As yours is a Pro Series, is it navy blue in color?? CLICK HERE TO GO TO Durango159's LINK |

A pic of the plate showing the manufacturers info would help. As mentioned, the model number would help, as well as pics of the vacuum. |

I have seen that style hood series but never in that color scheme and the upright handle/ bag compartment looks a little different. I'd be interested in a pic of the upper handle assembly. The on/off switch for these was a basic rocker switch. I looked up the part number on Hesco and Sears and found one it on USA vacuum for only a few bucks. It has a black background so it won't clash with your green. There is one on eBay with a red background. The original part number was R720128 and that was replaced by 720125.
Your machines is essentially a Dirt Devil Deluxe. Trying to find an on/off switch with your color scheme may never happen, I have never seen a Deluxe Dirt Devil in that shade before!!! CLICK HERE TO GO TO Durango159's LINK |

What's the plastic sliding thing?? It's a toggle on/off switch like most other Dirt Devil Deluxe/ MVP style units of this series would have.
