So....I did the classic mistake of taking it apart....and not noting how the wires are routed.

Michael's YouTube videos are helpful, but he demonstrates with a pre-516. The 516 started the "case within a case"......

1. Is the headlight harness routed outside of the main motor case now?
2. which holes do the field coil wires emerge from?

Does the service manual show this? If so, where can I get one?

Help Mr. Stupid..... :(

Thanks...but what I really need are instructions on how the physical wires are routed through the motor case / housing......
