Hello, I've been cleaning up my B8 Beautifier recently because the grease separated (putting oil everywhere!)... I oiled the motor bearing then noticed a similar felt material under the gearbox. Everything is coated in oil and didn't know if this was for a bearing, too.

Does anyone know if this felt washer in the pic is supposed to be oiled for a lower bearing?

That felt should be dry. I think the felt pads around the base of the gear drive, on top of the gear drive and on the base plate under the motor are there for sound deadening.

Yeah...

Awesome, thanks for the info! I thought it was for sound deadening, but wanted to be absolutely sure.
