HOOVER model 63 began production on August 24, 1953. It ceased production on April 26, 1957. It was labeled originally (experimental) as X-190-A. I got this correct info from Tom. Tom Who? Tom Anderson. Just for clarification, whenever I refer to a Tom... it's always Tom A. He has OR can get the most accurate Hoover info. I'm lucky we're so close. I'll get around to posting pics of all of my 63s in my "gallery" thread. Hope this helps. John |
