Can anyone recommend how to remove the white deposits from the lip of a Sani Em-Tor where the bag attaches? I actually have three Sani Em-Tors and all of them have the hardened substance on them.

I've tried an SOS pad, a blue scrub pad, and a melamine foam sponge (think Magic Eraser) which removed some but not all of it.

I'm also wondering if anyone has been successful in preventing the reforming of deposits by putting a protectant on the cleaned area?

In addition, does anyone have 2 Sweet-Aire port screws with red heads that they would sell me for a decent price? Those on eBay are overpriced in my opinion.
