I am preparing a Kirby G4 for my sister for Christmas, and at the moment, the Kirby will go backwards by itself when I put it in Drive.
I cannot remember how to fix this for the life of me, and we're celebrating Christmas early on the 24th so I would love to have this problem sorted out tonight if so. |

When you push the handle forward do the wheels drive the unit backwards? If so check the brush leads you may have the motor running backwards.
Normally if the motor is running correctly and the yoke is around that pin on the handle slide it's usually just a minor adjustment of the handle on the slide bracket. Another way to check if the motor is running backwards is you won't get much suction. Hope this helps Happy KwanzaChanuYuleMas Ray |
