And I found a DC01 in the trash...

And rescued a rather mucky Aquavac from the carboot

Was given this hoover hurricane but it didn't work and was in bad condition so I scrapped it

Saw this sorry looking Vax Mach Air Force in the trash and although it had no cyclone I couldn't leave it there!

Technically it's not contemporary as its 30 years old this year but I certainly wouldn't call it vintage!
Anyway it's a Henry HVC200 from 1984 that was kindly given to me by Mr Wray

Not a vacuum itself but thought it was cool anyway!

Nice machines George! Although I am a bit biased as some of them came from me... Tongue out

Ear muffs? More like industrial sound dampening equipment and ear defenders! Tongue out

Love the bissell spinfoamer - my Mum's friend had the manual orange version. Bit more sleek than the old 1960's version we had when I was little.

Gosh George someone loves you = all of them free?? That's some haul.

My granny had quite a few of those Bissell Spinafoamers too.

Im wondering though - and having worked with the famous Goblin Boxer vacs - were Vax really the first with the carpet shampoo kit on the tub/101 vacs? I remember Goblin selling plenty of Aquavacs but only a few were 3 in 1 with the upright triangular nozzle.
