I thought I'd fill all of you in on current developments in my crazy (even by vacuum collector standards) Royal / Dirt Devil hand vac collection.
Eventhough I haven't found the dark blue model I have been seeking, the collection continues to grow. In the last 2-3 months I have got 3 more metal handvacs, bringing the total number of metal versions to 10, and the total including plastic dirt devils to 15.
Regardless of the large current size of the handvac collection, I have calculated that there are 60+ versions that are still out there. Many of them I have never seen but have discovered through parts lists and such.
