I'm somewhat divided between a Simplicity Moxie or a Royal 8300... Both would be awesome. |

For Christmas I would like a Vintage Hoover (big surprise!) and as luck would have it, I just this morning won and paid for a Hoover Junior 119 on eBay!
It is in dire need of some TLC and definitely a respray, but the motor works (supposedly) and it is all intact so I am very excited to take receipt of it sometime next week and get started on the restoration which I intend to do thoroughly, though not all at once. Put simply, I will get it running 100% first then do the aesthetics at a later date, but they will be done. |

Thank you Scott, I'm sure I will! I will have to wait until I receive it to know what year it is from, but it is from the 1950s - I know that much. I would have rather got the 119 with matching colour scheme to my 1949 612, but that's life and after all I now have an excuse to buy another 119 further down the line! |

Not entirely sure... I'll probably see what I get for money this year and then go shopping... I also suspect my wonderful boyfriend will find something to buy me. The only vacuum I mentioned to him was a Panasonic at Wal-Mart, it is a bag less one, but it is multicyclonic and seems like a somewhat decent machine to play around with. I'd love to get a brand new NSS M-1 with the power wand, but I have no realistic expectation of that happening.

I toyed with the idea of getting another Hoover Junior but then I remembered that every time I have had one, it is hell on my back. I forgot how small the handle is on the Junior in terms of height. A Senior may be better, but I'm happy with my Vax VCU02 - its still going and nowt has broken off it, yet.
