I just purchased this Hoover Elite. The motor plate says Elite II Total System Performance 640. The bag and motor plate are two different colors. I am wondering if anyone can give me any information on what year this model came out. Also, I would like for the motor plate to match the bag. I will buy anything that pertains to this specific model. Please help me. Thank you!

What's the serial number if available?

That way I can tell you when it was made.

I believe one of mine is a performance 640, same color but top fill bag. Looks like the hood may have oxidized a little bit, that's the right bag though. I don't believe they were intended to exactly match on some models. I'd be willing to bet that's a 91, maybe 92' model. I've gotten a couple elite II's lately, but no side fills. Nice find!
