I feel the same way, well, almost the same way. We are a pretty vivacious group and quite sprightly in our effervescents. We try not to wear our hearts on our sleeves, and you my ask us why? Because, we have them rolled up - always working hard to make our vacuums look their very best. We are always seeking, always searching for our new acquisitions. We few, we merry members of the VCCC most warmly welcome you and yours, and without neglecting most importantly all of your vacuum cleaner needs(Just make sure it's a Kirby, or a really old Eureka) just kidding...welcome to the club! Robin, we've tried to arrange a mass UK meetup before, but it never takes off. Nobody seems to be all that bothered about it. I certainly don't mind arranging such a thing, maybe at a hotel somewhere that we can all meet at, but I'd need ideas of numbers before I could start to arrange anything. It would obviously need to be in a major UK city that is easy for everyone to access, the obvious choices being Manchester, Birmingham and London (but the latter can get expensive).

Perhaps it would be best to confine venue discussion to one thread, however I would suggest avoiding Manchester, Birmingham and London altogether but certainly look for a venue in the Midlands or perhaps a little north of there which should make it accessible to the most number of people and should allow a venue and accommodation of more modest cost
