it is a Model XXX, though it has been refinished.

I hate it when this happens!

Somebody got the bright idea at decorate an Exectrolux XXX. I've seen this countless times, including, (I kid you not,) one XXX with the body painted white, the front and back cover in red and the runners in blue. I've also seen stars, stripes, and the worst by far was the pink body, purple end covers, and avacado green runners. UGH!

This one is not that bad, but it has a hose that goes with the Electrolux 1205. Most people find this anything but art, just bad decor. Like Queen Victoria, we are not amused!

I'd rather see them original.

Mo XXX

Hello,One of the great vintage vacs.Could have been sold out of Roanoke VA office if you found locally as they were one of oldest in country.Probably rebuilt by a vac store with top cover that would have been available from vac supply houses. The newer hose would have been a logical update as older hose developed leaks and customer was still using the Elux.(Check filter at rear and discard or change if dirty.),Jimmy

Thanks for the reply, Jimmy. How's business? The vac above was one I was thinking about acquiring but did not. Been selling Lux parts recently. Pretty good market out there.
