The factory rebuilt machines were normally the same colour scheme as the machines out at the time. As there wasnt a pink Electrolux I would assume it has to be a private rebuild.

The hose is aftermarket non Electrolux .. I doubt this came out of the Electrolux factory in this color

It's not factory.

The factory didn't do that. It didn't do that under any circumstance. Some private individual ruined that 1205 by doing that. You can see the original blue paint beneath the pink paint where it's scratched.

There's nothing original about that!

I nearly choked on my breakfast the other morning when I first ran across that FrankenLux! If you look closely on the center caster guard the pink paint is starting to rub off and show the true color of that 1205! I don't have a clue what has been done (if anything) to its motor, but their asking price appears a little astronomical to me as well!!!

None of the tools are original either. I hope some one doesnt fall for that and pay that ridiculous price.

Abomination!  The machine on the right is what a 1205 should look like.

Pink 1205 on eBay

That 1205 is either a privately rebuilt vacuum or custom painted for the customer; & all the tools & hose are aftermarket.

the color of the machine is perfect for giving it a breast cancer awarness makeover.
