have any of you lovely people out there got a an old light n easy thay want to part with i had one years ago and would love another. i dont know why but i really love these old cleaners, they are so basic but quite effective. the first time i saw one was when i was a kid and it was my neighbours vacuum but it was the model from empire stores catalogue with the big bow on the belt cover.
has anyone got any video as well they can upload of one these vacuums as well

Unfortunatly, for a cleaner which was been around for so long (since 1963) they are surprisingly rare
In this respect they are like the Goblin upright cleaners of the same period which also are hard to find inspite of being sold through multiple sales channels. Actually when introduced they were quite advanced being an all new design having an easy height selector and a top fill bag. They were also appreciably lighter than the Hoover Junior, their main competition
