I have a Hoover Convertible not original motor. I tried to connect the headlight wiring and blew twice the bulb. I guessing doing wiring wrong. Can anyone can help me. Thanks Joel |

do you think that there could be to much power going to the light and there needs to be a resister? i think it is called a resister, it limites the power going into something |

You dont need a resistor, I will look on one of my headlight convertibles tomorrow afternoon and tell you exactly how its wired. I can tell you right now that one of the wires should not be on the carbon brush connection. Someone will probably help you sooner than I canm if not I will post my findings in the afternoon, after work. Good luck, dont give up yet!
