Hey, all I'm gonna say to this is, as much as I'm interested in what you may have to offer (like all of us are), ONLY DO THIS IF THIS IS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO!!!!!
You are REALLY GONNA REGRET IT if your wife-to-be is pressuring you to do this & can't accept your hobby. As a matter of fact, I would take it as a darn good sign she is NOT the woman for you if she doesn't accept you for who you are, & your hobbies. Also, you are gonna regret if you get rid of some of your really valuable & rare vacuums. Remember, you can't replace that 1924 Electrolux Model V so easily as you can that old watch you threw away, you liked so much & wish you could find another one. Tell us what you've got.....but whatever you do, make sure this is what YOU want, NOT your wife wants! Rob |

As far as I know there is no appraisal site for vintage vacuum cleaners. Vintage vacuums are not like vintage cars, for example. As others have said on this forum vintage vacuum cleaners are usually not big ticket items. A vintage vacuum is only worth, what someone else is willing to pay for it. So don't expect to make a "killing" on these unless you have something really rare like a Compact with an ABC power nozzle or a bunch of new in the box vacuums ( depending on what they are).
We can't help you unless you provide pictures or a description of each vacuum. Personally, I would have a very difficult time coming up with a dollar value on my own collection. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. |
