I love the Tradition

It was the first model I sold as a dealer.  I loved the blue color, and that it was the first Kirby that gave you the choice of paper bags or shake out.

Congrats! The trad is my personal favorite Kirby. The blue perfectly compliment the chrome and it's just a beautiful machine.

Great find

The Tradition is one of my favorite Kirby's as well. I do have a question as to the correct fan thought, I have an original and a rebuilt Tradition, and they both have lexan fans. I know that the Tradition with the headlight safety switch had a metal fan, but I'm unsure about the regular Tradition fan.

Teddy,

The gray Lexan fan was the one used on most Traditions, just not the very first ones with the headlight safety switch.
