Wow! Not to shabby at all!!! Just wish the Goodwill stores in this area had vacs like that. I stay away from the Goodwill now beacuse of price, and the fact they RARELY have vacs and when they do, they are newer ones with a hefty price tag.

You are very lucky to have found that. I just cannot find any vintage Hoovers like that in my area at Goodwill and other thrift stores. The only vacuum cleaners that I have found were newer machines which often were not in very good condition. GREAT FIND!

I've noticed that too Chris!

The older cleaners are often in immaculate, or near immaculate condition, while cleaners which are only a year or two old look like they've been in use since 1920!!

The reason is because the older machines can withstand everyday use much better than the newer machines!
