My Hoover Senior 6525E shows on the rating plate that it is 400/600w but on a
6525C i saw today it shows 650/420w does this mean mine has a different motor to
earlier models?
Any info appreciated

Mark

Yes, I think so.

You must have the same motor as my '77 Ranger, seeing as mine is a 400/600W too (400 watts when using the main cleaner and 600 watts when a hose is attached).
