It does look totally different (and I think better). The caddy came off easily and could be put back on with four rivets or screws. It turns out this vacuum was made in 1988, but it looks much older. I'm still waiting for a new filter and disposable bags so that I can really try it out! |

Nice machine, and I'm sure Royal made it a powerful performer, but it looks to me as if someone was looking straight at the Electrolux Model L when they designed it! |
