Does anyone know how to remove the brushes on one of the compact polishers? And if the belts which go around the brushes are still available? I received one today, and the rubber friction belts are pretty worn.

Sorry, I figured It out. And it turns out the belts werent worn, just incorrectly installed by whoever had it last. Now I just need to find myself a set of the felt pads and a set of the wool pads. I heard the electrolux triple polisher/shampooer pads will fit. Is this correct?

Yes!

I think they will, the secret to the Compact polisher is always take the bag out and leave the lid open, much more airflow that way.

WOW !

Hans
I did not know that about the compact polisher. Leaving the bag out and the
lid open! Of course I have never really had one to play with. I do remember
the Interestate Sales man, demoing the machine and polisher back in 1962/63.
Good information thanks !
Norm

Yes, bag out, lid open. If I heard that I knew mom was at it with the polisher, not quiet at all.
