This is a little too far for me to go grab, but I hope it doesn't end up getting scrapped. The ad on Craigslist says:

The is a very old Apollo Upright Vacuum Cleaner. It does not appear to work but could be an interesting project for restoration.

It's near the sidewalk at 1649 Fernside St, Redwood City, 94061.

I'll pull the listing down when I notice it's gone, no response to "Is It Still Available?" emails.

This is the only Apollo I have seen since buying mine. These are very rare. I would love to know the history of the Apollo company. Was it a department store? I have never seen an advertisement for one. These were made by the Brittman company. Pictured is my Apollo.
