They both seem to be well made, the blueberry has improvements over the red being newer. The pet powermate is an awful like the sidekick II.

I agree, I don't care for tools on the wands or hoses. Under the hood is good for me. There is also a way in taking the brushes off and replacing it with a grid like piece to use on upholstery. | ||

That blue one is a great find but the red one is better. The blue one has the new Kenmore logo on it which they just changed within the last year or two. I would go to a vac shop and see if they have any PNs laying around. Other than that, check eBay I guess. | ||

I noticed that logo too, I like the old logo better than the new one. I too agree a vacuum shop or eBay would be the best way to find them. EBay seems expensive on Kenmore canisters though, so the PowerMates might be expensive too.
My favorite canisters Kenmore has now are the white one and the blue one with mating floor nozzle, like was found at the other auction. | ||
