Have any of our UK members ever seen a toy model 638?

Hey, Walter!

I might just have a picture of what you're looking for... On a slightly different note, I own two toy Juniors. A blue one and a kinda Beige coloured one. As well as many other toy vacs :P

Thank-you Charlie,

I think that's the American version by the bag top; NO BAG SLIDE.

I have boxed-; 612,652,652B & 1334.

I know there was the cream/brown with black pinstripe bag 612 as well as the blue/grey with black pinstripe bag version.

If their was a Wells 638 I think it must have had a very short production run.

A good friend and fellow collector who has loved cleaners all his life and who is now 62 is sure he remembers a neighbours daughter having one circa 1958?

I wonder if one will turn up sometime?

Kind regards, Walter.

^I used to have that toy Turbopower when I was little. The handle snapped off on it and despite my Dad's efforts to glue it back on, it was unsalvageable. It was replaced with a toy Electrolux 550 :)
