oh my gosh,

super-sweeper's profile picture
that has to be the most BEAUTIFUL convertible i have ever seen! i LOVE the color!
i remember the bag in the movie it didn't have that little wrinkled tube going up to the bag,it connected smoothly, like a eureka bag assembly. it did mach, though.
the bag isn't the same,so i'm guessing that's a genuine hoover bag in the movie?

and i forgot to mention this is the first post, how in the WORLD did they get the bag to expand and junk like that? dumb question)would that really happen if i stuck a rubber bag on my convertible, would be pretty funny if it did, i'd have my own personal blimp!:D

thanks for the info,Alex.

It was a balloon with Hoover printed on it, seeing how physics dictates that a real Hoover bag would just let air through it... ;)

As for getting it to inflate, well, they filled it with air, just like how you blow up a regular balloon, though as it was probably a painted up weather balloon they probably used compressed air, possibly sent through a hose that was made to look like it was the power cable...

Movie props of course never relate to reality, they're always modified in some manner....

good idea,

it makes plenty sense it was a weather balloon with air going in though the coed, great thinking there!

Weather balloon bag?

Looks to be. If you pay close attention to the bag when he starts the hoover up you can see it inflate like a balloon does.

Am I the only one noticing the amazingly cool looking stove in the background of Brandon_W_T's photo. That thing is massive and awesome.
